For my family the Commemoration Mass that is held on the Bleiburg field is the closest we can be to so many of our family members who were viciously tortured and murdered in or close to Bleiburg. We are Catholics, at this mass we pray for their souls and pay our respects to dead. They have no graves, we do not know where their bones lay. There was no priest present for confession or last rights before they were either executed or buried alive. It's a big sadness that burdens our hearts and that we live with every day. We cant forget them. They are our family. Can you forget your family? Could you forget your father or your or your grandmother? What sort of a Catholic or person would I be if I did not pray for my deceased family and pray for their souls? Would you not lay a flower or light a candle on your father's grave?

How is it possible that someone wants to ban this peaceful commemoration of the victims of WW2? How is it possible that in 2020 a church service can be banned?? I wonder if those wishing to ban it also claim to be respectful, tolerant and inclusive?

Protivim se odluci o zabrani dolaska Hrvatskih istinskih domoljuba na molitvu Blajburškim žrtvama . Tamo su se dobrovoljno predali a poslije toga su krvnički i bez suđenja poubijani ,umirali su na različite okrutne načine. Puno toga je napisano o Blajburškoj tragediji i sramotno ,nemoralno a i nehumano bi bilo da se zabrani dolazak Hrvata a i ostalih dobronamjernih osoba da se pomole i prisjete na njihovu patnju kroz koju su prošli prije nego je smrt nastupila.
