Komemorativna događanja na blajburgškom polju podsjećaju na događaje koji u mnogom sliće na postupanja nacista prema Židovima. Komemorativna događanjima na blajburgškom polju obnavljaju sječanja na međunarodne i jugoslavenske zločine nad poraženim vojnim snagama i civilima koji su se predali nadajući se zaštiti i pravednom suđenju. Obnavljanje sječanja je potrebno da se nikada više ne bi dogodilo da pobjedničke, savezničke snage, omoguće genocidne aktivnosti nad poraženim vojnim snagama i civilima.
