It is our request to Mr John Glover, of Blueprint Management, that Peter Cox, Lead singer of the band Go West, is given more solo dates (Go West Commitments permitting!) As fans, we appreciate that primarily Pete is the voice of \'Go West\' and we know how excellent his vocals are! However, We were honoured with a short solo tour back in 2006, when for the first time we experienced a full set of some of his solo catalogue!!! This tour left us, the fans, wanting the opportunity to be able to experience more of the same! Since that tour, we have been treated to the odd \'solo number\' at fan weekends and the like, and also some were lucky enough to see Pete perform as a guest vocalist with the Hamish Stuart Band last year............. this only left Pete\'s fans wanting more!!! We were informed that Pete \'might\' be doing something similar to the previous tour during March this year and were excited at the prospect! However, for whatever reasons, and we appreciate other commitments and such like prevented this happening, were given 2 dates, The Robin and The Stables over the weekend 15th and 16th March. The Content of these shows was absolutely superb and has left all that attended wanting more! The response from Pete\'s fans has been overwheelming and in light of this fact we would like to make this request to you, Mr John Glover Sir............... WE WANT PETER COX OUT ON TOUR, THE DATE AND TIME AT YOUR CONVENIENCE SIR, BUT BE REST ASSURED THAT WE WANT IT TO HAPPEN! As \'Go West\' fans we relish the idea of the forthcoming album (release date circa AD2012) and think that the new materiel is superb! BUT, there is so much of Pete\'s solo ability that we would very much like to explore! So, please take notice of this request! We are not asking for you to move heaven and earth, Just that we are able to get to hear Pete sing parts of his solo repertoire on a more frequent basis
