So sadly underrated during his lifetime, induction into the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame would at last show some appreciation for this incredible musician.

It's very unfair that a legend like Climax Blues Band wasn't inducted, but Pete Haycock, a co-founder and one the best guitar players ever, with a solid career after Climax Blues Band as well, he really deserves a recognition, despite he's not with us since 2013, but his legacy makes him a real choice to be inducted, hope that CBB or Pete by himself at least be inducted. cheers

I did a short tour with Pete in the 80s to promote the Guitar and son album.He was a fantastic guitarist.RIP Pete.

The best guitarist the world never had but we knew his true worth. So did Eric Clapton, Paul Mc C, Hans Zimmer, Rory Gallagher, Steve Hunter, Ike Turner, Bev Bevan........and all the old blues men....every guitarist worth his salt praised his inate talent, most would call it genius. He played harmonica like he was born in the southern delta. If it was music, he mastered it. To have shared some time with him has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Lets make this final push to get him recognised. Let's sign up all our buddies who loved his music but didn't want to appear on social media. Never mind 500, let's go for 5000. Ther aere many more than that whole loved his playing. Let's do it for Pete!!!

Induct Pete, Colin Cooper, Derek Holt and John Cuffley as Climax Blues Band having had a couple of Bilboard chart songs in the 70's and early 80's

I grew up wanting to play just like Pete Haycock.
He was a seminal influence on me (still is today) and gave me some of the best live musical memories I have.
Awesome Guitar Player, Vocalist, Performer and Composer and all round nice guy.

It still breaks my heart. I base a lot of my guitar style and vocal phrasing on Mr. Pete. In his long-hair "shag" days he looked a lot like my cousin Paul Moreno, and we had all the CBB's records. Favorite song: Summer Rain! I believe its Pete who sings it...breaks my heart.They were rock-blues-funk and soul! They did that better than all the rockers that tried that at that time! RIP.

A mesmerising guitarist. If you didn't see Pete live, you were really missing something. Saw Pete with Climax at Reading 1975 and many times thereafter and he is in my top five guitarists of all time.
