Having attended this years 40s night, and the last Peaky weekend (due to Pete Wayre's promotion) we are bitterly disappointed. the night was empty, flat, and less going on than last year when he was booked! blatantly & prmoromoted to the museum via facebook as it could be! He really encapsulates all that you as a venue are SUPPOSEDLY trying to attract people to come with. You took him away (out of order) and look; the event gained the most facebook media complaints it has ever had (not having the right entertainment etc). Maybe the company should see for once what WE THE GUESTS REALLY WANT! not oooh nooo.. traffic crime singer cannot possibly work here! grow up! its a traffic crime. are you to say that he did that and should NEVER work again? so terrible;e?? nah that is EXACTLY WHAT YOU ARE SAYING BY DISCRIMINATING HIM WITH SACKING! I WOULD HAPPILY SUPPORT any legal proceedings against you lot.. this is no better than racism in how you just booted him! really isn't!!! all of you and your personal lives SQUEEKY clean, really??!!! SHOULD NOT affect a PROFESSIONAL WORK ETHIC OPR STAN POINT. BE DISGUSTED BCLM.

Wake up to reality! you got rid, your event majorly suffered. Poor Jane has to compensate when there is NO comparison for Pete. NE3VER HAS BEEN NATIONWIDE IN OVER 12 YEARS!! Is the museum so discriminative to NOT EMPLOY PEOPLE WITH A RECORD? im sure if we look in to this; government advise, job centre etc.. would soon defy this act of insanity. BCLM are discriminating him! stupid, wheres the managements brains at??!! Its hard;y like he murdered someone is it?? AS hateful display. An event that promotes so heavily Peaky Blinders events as a praising glory: THOSE THAT MAIM, MUTILATE, COMMIT REPEATED CRIMES OF THE HANOUS VARIETY..ye t sack off a singer for a driving offence forced by his ex-partner harassing him with Police help & RSPCA "ANONYMOUS" THREATS REPORTS AND VISITS? BCLM..WAKE UP!!! you promote a crime family to bring you business, yet spurn a real life one for less than you promote??!! real world factor1 should be shamed!! crime profiteering when bloody suits you!!!!! disgrace! Pete took on the mantle of this event when NO OTHER WELL KNOW 40S SINGER WOULD AND REJECTED YOU... but now over something so small.. you boot him with no courtesy. I will never come back to the museum under these hypocritical circumstances. bloody awful!!!

Pete's great! seen him a good 10 years. An event drops him, very sad loss. Love to see him back at the event 2019!! Car chase or not, doesn't matter to us. Celebs do far worse! :)

Petes amazing! We all know of the story, and haven't we all had a blip in life? Does that mean he should suffer professionally for a mere driving conviction in his personal life?! Ludicrous the Museum have sacked him. We always go to the events with Pete on, he is the reason we ever tried the Black Country events in the first place! Re-think will be going on now if we shall attend at all 2019 :(

We ( Station 109 http://www.station109.com/ ) have engaged Peter at several swing dances and events, and he is undoubtedly one of the best and all-round competent performers on the 1940s 'circuit.

No one is perfect. Pete made a really bad mistake he will regret for the rest of his life. He has done his time, learned a hard lesson and is trying to rebuild. Fantastic talent - keep going mate.

One of the best performers we have! Eve tone makes mistakes we are ALL NOT PERFECT! Even film stars, footballers etc make mistakes they brush them set off after serving their punishment and get back to work, so why can’t Pete continue where he left off he’s served his time, regrets his mistakes lets help him back on his feet and support him for all the enjoyment he’s given us
