I have seen an employee of the township, enter the back yard of a property, and I am quite sure that he did not have the permission. I have also had the same employee enter my house without knocking out ringing the door bell.

I definitely do not agree that anyone can enter your property without my permission for any kind of inspection or for any other reason. I certainly would like to see a stop put to this bylaw here in Perth East.

Do not support this new bylaw and agree that amendments need to be made in order for access to properties to be limited to urgent situations only as well as respecting biosecurity as stated in suggested changes.

Makes no sense to me that a property bylaw officer would have more authority than a police officer. Also why would their visit not have to be complaint driven.
