I think we should allow this cause people learn differently. some need these things to focus such as : music, podcast, shows, and other audio or note taking tools. many people should also be allowed to do this cause of the amount of autistic and other disorders who need phones or laptops for sensory things that cant be provided physically.

law only bans cell phone usage, here is the first paragraph from the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce about the law:
Requirements for School Cell Phone Policies
Ohio law requires each school district, community school, and STEM school to adopt a policy prohibiting cell phone use by students during the instructional day by Jan. 1, 2026. An “instructional day” is any period of time in which a student is expected to be in attendance and includes not only formal instruction time but also supervised activities, such as transitioning between classes, recess, meal periods, and field trips.

Maybe they can let you have back your devices after you learn how to form a proper sentence. We should add that to the demands!

only problem with that is they can twist it into "Well people from other schools dont go here and dont experience the rule, therefore those signatures are void". As much as would like to have and count them its a liability issue against me.

Im trying to go international with this, people from schools differentiating for this petition wont count toward the total due to them not having to live it. As much as i want to let it slide, it can be fought against me if I go to court about it. I do appreciate your opinion however. I wont delete the comment nor the signature but add another signature needed because of this. Different voices from different communities agreeing show the severity about the division on the rule.
