I have completed the formal documentation regarding historical naming conventions and submitted it directly to the editorial board at National Geographic. My focus now is tracking whether this evidence prompts a correction to their digital atlas.

The reach of this petition has now caught the attention of regional historical societies who are providing us with additional archival evidence. We are incorporating these documents into a formal brief that will be delivered to the editorial offices at National Geographic.

The name is Persian Gulf and has been for thousands of years. Stop changing history for politics.
