I agree that residents of this community should get some sort of sticker to turn.

A simple sticker on our cars should work.

This right turn will put residents at a big disadvantage during the peak time which is when kids have after school activities. This will easily add 15-20 mins to the commute every time. With kids already stressed with not having enough time, this will add to the burden

I second the notion to keep vista del mar overly privileged

This is the worst decision to have been by the city of fremont without doing a study and without asking the residents opinion in a meeting.

Putting a "no right turn" sign requires residents to take a much longer route than necessary to get to their destination. Instead of going on Paseo Padre Parkway, residents would have to take other roads such as Mission Boulevard. However, the 3-7 p.m. time frame is when traffic is the worst on Mission and getting to locations such as Mission San Jose High School for after school activities may take another 20 minutes with this alternative route. This time can be spent on other more important tasks such as studying or doing homework. Also, not only does this stop sign make it more difficult and tedious for students, parents having to pick up their children from school will also have to spend more time in traffic. Thus, if this traffic sign is implemented, a special permit would greatly benefit the residents of Antelope Hills.

I second Kate Lin on this. Please consider allowing local residents to make right turns on Paseo Padre.

As a student living in this neighborhood, I oftentimes have to go to after school avtivities during times of large amount of traffic on Paseo Padre and Washington. To get to Mission San Jose HS from my house, I have to make a right turn at the stop sign that the city wants to bar all right turns at. It already takes an inordinate amount of time just to get to an after school sports practice during the traffic jams, but now that time is increased by a lot because I will have to take a much longer route to get to school. This means taking valuable homework and sleep time to spend an additional ten minutes sitting in the traffic jam on Paseo Padre each time I go to school. While I understand how this can reduce neighborhood disruptions, my house is right near the Paseo Padre exit, and it makes zero sense to have to go to the Pine exit and then go onto Paseo Padre and sit in traffic for an extra block. Please consider allowing neighborhood residents to make right turns on Paseo so that students I like a me don't have to waste more time in traffic than we already do.
