"The number one thing to focus on is employees and customers. When it comes to taking care of employees, the goals should be: keep them well, keep them employed and keep them mentally healthy." - Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America and Chair of the World Economic Forum's International Business Council
Effective September 1, 2020, LAHSA plans to reopen offices amid a current spike in confirmed COVID-19 positive cases. This change will undoubtedly bring the option for full-time telework to an end.
Full-time and part-time telework options have certainly attributed to zero reports of COVID-19 confirmed cases within the organization and have facilitated an increase in morale and overall worker satisfaction. Approximately 20-30% of LAHSA employees have indicated a desire to continue teleworking, indefinitely.
We, the undersigned, are concerned employees of LAHSA who urge our Administration and leaders to act now to implement options for permanent telework.
Keep LAHSA Workers safe, happy and productive!
