This man did not receive a fair trial in any way, shape or form! And I believe without a doubt he is INNOCENT

Free Scott Peterson! There is so much evidence that someone else perpetrated this outrageous crime against Laci and Connor Peterson. It is my hope that the Supreme Court will review all of the new evidence and come to the same conclusion. I also hope that action will be taken against the police department to keep them from withholding evidence to skew the courts decisions in the future.

I really hated this guy! After reviewing the appeal and all the suppressed evidence. I can't see how he could have done it. The witnesses were absolutely certain they had seen her. MEDIA UNFAIR TRIAL!

Are you kidding me? He deserves a fair trial inclusive of ALL the EVIDENCE. I wonder where all the BIG WIGS are NOW and how they benefitted from this verdict. He was considered guilty way before trial. I remember. Where is the justice? For all? And i have the feeling the murderer(s) are having a good laugh at all of them.

I believe that he was tried in the press so he couldn't have gotten a fair trial! A injustice when the detectives lock on to u they will get u no matter whether your innocent or guilty!

It is unconscionable that investigators and the media not only created a bias within the mind of the public toward assuming Scott Peterson guilty; but that they normalized and rationalized that bias. One investigator said, from a current vantage point, that he suspected Scott Peterson from the moment he met him. While I am a forensic psychologist, you don't have to be one to recognize the serious ethical problems that arise after that. Research shows that we humans maintain attitudes and perceptions which support already held beliefs. We typically do not chase in pursuit of information that runs contrary to these beliefs. When a member of the investigative team admits to suspecting Scott Peterson from the very beginning, we would be naive to think that any member of the investigative team would earnestly seek alternate explanations. to events or to Scott Peterson's demeanor and behavior at the time of the disappearance. When a member of law enforcement readily demonstrates this bias, but shows no awareness of it, there can be no action taken to safeguard against it and its potential for serious, irreversible harm. Objectivity is lost and personal "gut feelings" (a term actually used by another investigator on the case) rule the day. The trial was in San ź Mateo county, where I lived at the time, as I do now.. It was all one saw on television and in newspapers at the time. You didn't have to seek it out -- the Peterson case sought you out and found you wherever you went -- it was on the televisions at the gym, it was on the front page of supermarket tabloids at the grocery store. It was everywhere. It is impossible for me to believe that a sufficient number of people could be found to sit on that jury who were either not exposed to the media, or who were exposed, but remained free from a bias toward guilt. I am greatly disturbed by the *particular* and frequent use of verbal descriptors of Scott Peterson's behavior at the time of the trial from their current vant
