Why would you NOT release this? Holding onto it is like... settling for less and, subsequently, representing Britney's artistic expression with an inferior video.

RCA, Team Britney-get it together. With the audio mishap in Alien, the typo on the back of the album (Hold on Tite), and various other incidences, this is a disgrace. A major artist like Britney should have mistakes like this. Her fans, those who have stuck by through thick and thin, deserve a real video-not some watered-down crap to please the public. Britney has been in the business for 15 years now. I think it's time she can start doing what she wants artistically.

I've been a Britney fan since day 1 and I have to say that this video is just bland nonsense. In short, I fucking hate it. The directors cut NEEDS to be released if this song is going to go anywhere.

It's not fair for the fans receive a version that was edited. Joseph Kahn is BIG director and his work must be seen. Release Director's Cut version of "Perfume" RCA !

They have cut all of his creativity. This is an embarrassment and I feel so sorry that Joseph Kahn's work has been represented like this!

I find the video extremely disappointing. Criminal was bad but this was a waste of everybody's time including Britneys 2 days on set. I want to see Joseph Kahns vision so if this record was really for the fans,then it might be time to listen to them for once. This era has been muted, lacklustre and painful at times. An artist famous for her performances has yet to deliver a performance and that is why her album will go down as the worst selling record she has ever released
