We had our wedding at the Percy Arms hotel . It was a brilliant day loved every minute there the staff were fantastic and we used to go there years ago for drinks . It has been a big miss in the village and my sister lives in the village with her family and we would visit again if opened. Need somewhere for people to catch up.

We need the Percy Arms open again for the benefit of the whole community. Without the Percy reopening and bringing life back into the reed and Rochester valleys

Spent many a fine night in The Percy. Back in Otterburn this weekend and very sad that the place is still closed. The village needs The Percy to get some community spirit back as it is sadly lacking at present. Hopefully everyone who wants to live in the village also wants a thriving community including a local pub / hotel. Let us hope it all works out. Pip

as I worked for over 10 years right up untill the day it closed its doors, I would love to see it up and running again, it was the hub of the village .

with recent news of other public house closing and others looking to close Otterburn will become a ghost town, it is fantastic news that jobs will be created in the valley. Don't let Otterburn become just another village that has nothing. Northumberland is the most beautiful county in the UK and needs villages to be fully functional attractions.

i no longer live in the village but know how important the Percy was to the village, not only as a place to enjoy a drink or a meal but for the people who worked there! This lovely little village needs the Percy as well as the surrounding areas reliant on such things as the ladies darts league!

Since the Percy Arms closed the village is dead it was and would be again the hub of the community. It would supply Tourism Jobs and bring life back to the village.

These people who are against this do not know the meaning of community spirit,
It would provide jobs in the village.
