After contacting GMP today to ask if pepper spray would be legal to carry should i need it for self defense when i go to greenock on 15/7/2011 after seeing someone get murdered there on crimewatch just tonight, i was angered to here about how anything that could cause harm to someone else is illegal, but you may carry a panic alarm, now im going to a remote part of greenock so lets face it, whose gonna hear a panic alarm? like seriously, It would be OK for a criminal to carry a knife to put to my throat but yet if that happens i cant carry anything legally to protect myself and then what happens, u report it and no evidence comes and they get away with it and your life is either over (dead) or seriously traumatized, so tonight just before this i contacted the big man of the UK, David Cameron and told him my views as well as GMP, and have also told him i am going to get a petition together to get signed by as many people in the UK as possible to get this stupid law against genuine people terrified of their own security lifted, don't just think of yourselves, think of old ladies on their own in their homes or young girls walking around late at night on their own, So what you waiting for? lets get it signed, All you need to do is write that you agree to it and write your name underneath, also put some points of your own in there if you wish, Cheers guys lets make this a safer UK for all of us!
