The Unicode Consortium confirmed the inclusion of the requested emoji in the next major update. I have reviewed the technical specifications for the image file and we expect full implementation across all platforms soon. We will monitor the rollout to ensure the design remains accurate to our original proposal.

Most smart phones feature a large set of emojis but there is all but one missing. The Pepe emoji. Pepe is a very popular meme, that is loved by thousands of people around the world. Pepe isn't just a meme ok? Pepe is there for us, always. His willingness to love and care for us deserves a reward. That reward is to have a official emoji recognizing his greatness.
