UCL Union People & Planet society Go Green petition http://www.uclu.org/peopleandplanet We, whose names are signed below, support the campaign to make UCL (University College London) a more environmentally responsible institution. Specifically, we feel that UCL needs: * the active & public support of senior university management, including the Provost, for a programme of environmental performance improvement *at least one full-time staff member dedicated to UCL\'s environmental management * a comprehensive review (alongside the Carbon Trust Audit) to investigate all the environmental impacts of the university and how these could be reduced * a publicly available, binding environmental policy, drafted with student participation UCLU People & Planet welcomes the progress that UCL has made to improving its environmental performance by cooperating with the Carbon Trust audit. Come to an event on Tuesday 19th February -\"UCL and the Environment\" - to find out more about what UCL is doing, will do, and should be doing. (Darwin Lecture Theatre, from 1830) See the facebook group here: http://uclac.facebook.com/event.phpeid=22030059192&ref=mf Thanks for signing the petition!
