With a growing traffic congestion issue in Washington State. No time is more noticeable than rush hour through the Seattle corridor. Washington State has always had a Passing lane Law. With signs that read, Slower Traffic Keep Right, Keep Right Except to Pass and Left Lane Passing Only. We still have those individuals that think the left lane is solely theirs. In daily commuting no doubt if your paying attention. You will see 60% of all traffic is traveling in the left lane and they stay their regardless whether any traffic at all is in the other 3 right lanes. Partly due to the over focus on speeders..we have thrown off the balance and flow of all traffic. We need to get back to the basics of proper use of the Passing Lane. And start giving citations to passing lane abusers.
