Well, since Anfernee \"Penny\" Hardaway first exploded into the league in 93-94, he was one of my favorite players. His style of play was very unique. Was he a point guard Was he a shooting guard It never really mattered to me if he was dishing the rock to big Shaq Daddy or taking it to the hole himself. When I was probably 10 years old, I saw his 1st shoes. It was the first time I actually cared about a pair of shoes. Well after begging for days and weeks, my mom would not give in telling me there was no way she would spend 100+ dollars on some shoes. To this day, I still havent owned a pair of the illustrious \"Pennys\" which is why I decided to start a petition to have Nike retro these. The Air Penny 2 not only represents a shoe, but a sort of sentimental feeling from my childhood that I miss. I can honestly say that next to the Jordan line, these are the greatest shoes EVER. The signatures I am gathering only represent a small number of people who need these shoes in their lives. Not everyone visits Niketalk or has even heard of it but I know their passion for the shoe game is the same.
