As a state government employee, I cannot accept any gifts. Lawmakers must be held to that the same standard, no exceptions.

It's sad that we have to seek legislation that keeps our paid lawmakers from accepting gifts of any kind. There is ALWAYS the appearance of impropriety when you take gifts as an elected legislator. Just say "no" and attend to the job we elected you to do.
We must end corruption in Pennsylvania!
This one's a no brainer, and should have been in place in the early nineteenth century.
