The volume of support has reached a level that allows me to formalize our request for a meeting with the University transportation office. I am currently drafting a letter that outlines the specific safety gaps for students living east of 20th Street. Expect an update once I receive a response regarding a potential discussion on route extension.

SAFETY FIRST. Especially at night. 20th is way too far a walk when you are coming back from the library late.
Walking all the way to 20th in the rain or freezing cold is the worst. Please extend the route!
just make it happen already. we pay enough tuition to get dropped off closer to home.
Finally someone said it. The current route ignores everyone living east of Rittenhouse and it is a pain.
it makes no sense that the bus stops so far from where we actually live. just keep going a few more blocks!

YES PLEASE. Carrying books and groceries that extra distance is a nightmare.
