There was a white, male active shooter in State College on Thursday, January 24th, and Penn State failed to inform their students until hours after it occurred because it was "off-campus" despite the fact that the violence occurred near student housing/surrounding University Park. There was a PSU Alert, nor has Penn State even put out a statement/tweet that fully acknowledges and explains the event with some sense of accountability. Someone from this BUSINESS (Penn State) needs to take accountability and resign. If that may be President Barron or the Chief of University Park Police. Someone. There were lives lost last night! The suspect was at LARGE for an extended period of time. Yet there was not a timely, informative report. There is more information on this event available via Onward State and other sites. Penn State is trying to just let this "go away" as hours/days pass. We cannot let this happen if we want accountability and change!
