Tell Penn State to Stop Advertising Addictive Online Gambling Products to Its Students!

Promoting sports betting to college students who attend your institution is unethical and immoral.

It's embarrassing when one person brings shame to an institution, but when the institution itself brings shame, it degrades everyone associated with the institution. Penn State, do better!

I grew up in PA and know there are healthier, more sane ways to get revenue. Come on Penn State, ditch your association with predatory gambling.

Shame on you Penn State! The welfare & safety of your students should always be paramount and to read that you are permitting illegal or even legal gambling on any university affiliated website is deplorable.

Now we can choose to tailor our new comments here by reminding Old Main about what they hoped we might have forgetten about by now.

PSU generally considering an outstanding institution. However, your complicity in promoting gambling will surely tarnish that otherwise positive reputation.

Its an addiction that is difficult to overcome more than other addictions. And its most costly and detrimental to ones financial well being.

The gambling business model is near criminal. They promise to take your money and trickle just a tiny portion back to keep you coming back to gamble again. Their business model is to get you addicted to gambling. Please help end this sinister business. It does nothing to enhance quality of life for anyone but the owner.

I invite you to reconsider your advertising addictive gambling products to Penn State students. They form habits now which will affect their lives, and a gambling habit can undo benefit from the education that you provide.

As an alumnus of Penn State I am deeply disappointed in their efforts to side-rail their young students into a lifetime of addiction and financial strain…all to help gambling industries gain economically. This is sick.

This is a disgrace, Penn State should be ashamed of itself.

I am a Penn State alumnus and love my school but am worried about the many harms being done to this generation by unscrupulous industries.
