Why would intelligent people choose to encourage any type of gambling for anyone. Let alone young people to become possibly addicted to it.

Gambling and students are a bad mix

Penn State's decision to advertise addictive gambling practices is unconsionable for us whose believe in PSU's land grant mission. Nothing could be further from our mission that to enslave students to a lifetime addiction that promotes neither their financial nor physical or emotional wellbeing.

I am ashamed as an alumni to see this blatant support of gambling when the information on the detriments of gambling is so clear. I thought this was an educational institution! Looks like all they care about is making money.

As a PSU alumna and resident of State College, I feel very strongly about this issue.

If Penn State can afford to advertise for online gambling, they shouldn't ask me for donations.

Disappointed that Penn State is so willing to contribute to corrupting young minds.

I do not think advertising for gambling is consistent with Penn State's mission.

PSU should focus on education and cultivate wholesome values for thriving communities rather than focusing on big business and profit from gambling.

As if supporting a brain-damaging, CTE-causing activity such as football, Penn State is now adding to the damage of young minds while posing as an education institution.

You are supposed to be an institution bringing out the best in the students, not catering to moneyed interests for no good end. No advertising of gambling to students or anyone else. Have some integrity
