William Penn established Pennsylvania as a "Holy Experiment."
"There may be room there for such a Holy Experiment. For the Nations want a precedent and my God will Make it the Seed of a Nation. That an example may be set up to the Nations. That we may do the thing that is truly wise and just."
In signing this Penn Proclamation we acknowledge William Penn
did set up a frame of government which was truly wise and just, that it was the Seed of the Nation and it is our prayer that those of us who are privileged to live, serve, and govern this great state will strive to live and govern by the ideals William Penn expressed.
This is a movement to bring "We the People" alongside our legislative leaders to restore the vision of William Penn and truly become, once again, the "Seed of a Nation."

William Penn was a godly man who founded Pennsylvania on godly principles and the Word of God. We must keep that foundation and keep standing on the covenant of God and prayer.
I was raised Evangelical Quaker, so I grew up with William Penn as one of my heroes! Praise the Lord that his Holy Experiment is returning to the state that bears his name!
Last Wednesday was at Philly City Hall with 2 YWAM friends, Holy Spirit led us there unexpectedly to pray & read aloud William Penn's prayer for Philadelphia, followed by worship!
I love the history of our state's founding and growth and feel that recent government decisions have often betrayed those founding principles. I pray that God forgives and guides us in reclaiming them. This Proclamation is a stepping stone in that process.
One of my favorite quotes is by William Penn - “Men must be governed by God or they will be ruled by Tyrants”. I fear that our nation may be fast approaching the latter, due to the lack of the former.
In God We Trust
May the righteous rise up and do all they can to stop the evil and anti-god agenda.

Every school should be telling the story of William Penn, a man inspired by God to plant the seed for this great nation, which is now in such great need to rediscover its own identity.
William Penn was a godly man who founded Pennsylvania on godly principles and the Word of God. We must keep that foundation and keep standing on the covenant of God and prayer.
