I think the schedule change is a decent idea for grades that have had it for all four years but it will screw over the students who will only have it for one or two years.

8 Classes all year round is WAY to much... Us students are already stressed out enough with four. Studying for 8 classes and doing tests / HW for 8. And trying to balance Family, work, sports, & any other things we have to take care of is WAY to much to deal with.

I think the schedule change is the stupidest idea ever. Last year we had a huge fight over changing the schedule, why would they think it's a good idea to try and change it again? Block schedule is so much less stressful. I only have to manage 4 classes a semester and I have the opportunity to double up. My grades in this school would plummet if I had to manage 8 different classes year round. School is simple this way. Plus, if you add more classes and cut class time, classes like chefs and gym will become very hard to operate. Also opportunities at Pinkerton would make you miss more valuable class time

As someone who does not go to Pelham high, but goes to a school with a 7 classes year round, it is very stressful to students when teachers have 5-7 tests over the span of two days. This schedule won't benefit the students.

It doesn't seem fair that it is us, the students, who the schedule affects, yet we have almost no say in what is going on.

I find students are already stressed enough as it is, and to load them with more work just sounds cruel to me.

The schedule we have been using has been very beneficial to me and others so I believe we need to continue using it because the majority of students like it

Why fix it if it isn't broken and the new schedule is very inconvenient for almost all students around final time
I believe the schedule is overwhelming with all four core classes.

4 classes a day are already stressful enough with the amount of tests and studying we have to do. It is already hard trying to handle school and what goes on out of school and still have time for enough sleep at night. 8 classes on our shoulders is NOT a way to get better test scores. It is a way to stress students out even more.

I do not want the scehuele to change because I believe it will mess up my grades graduation (2019). Also, for the students doing CTE classes I don't know how it will work out.

I have been planning my classes since freshman year, and this schedule change will not allow me to take certain classes. It will also be more stressful

This is not fair for current sophomores and juniors. Some of us have spent a lot of time and effort making long term plans and goals for our remaining years at the high school. Going along with this change will mess up our schedules, and likely keep us from completing our plan.
