I have spent my mornings reading your messages and they break my heart because I see my own dog in every single one of your stories. It is clear that we are all tired of watching our companions suffer for the sake of an aesthetic standard. I am currently gathering these accounts to present directly to breeders and industry regulators.

Seeing this kind of momentum means so much because I have watched my own dog struggle with these preventable health issues for years. People are finally waking up to the reality of what these animals are forced to endure.

Vet bills are insane because of all these health problems. People need to wake up.
Adopt dont shop. People pay thousands for these poor things just to have them suffer in pain. It needs to stop.
My poor spaniel has had so many health issues and it breaks my heart. Stop breeding for looks and think about the poor dogs quality of life!
it is just wrong plain and simple. health should always come first but people are too obsessed with breed standards.
why do we prioritize looks over health? my pug cant even breathe properly. cruel.

DISGUSTING. we are literally breeding them to be sick for a piece of yellow ribbon at a dog show. Shame on those breeders.
