This road is extremely dangerous and the tragic recent death only serves to highlight this.

I used to work at The River Club which is along this road, walking down here in the middle of the night or anytime in the day is a death wish! I have had friends crash on this road and on many occasions seen people nearly be hit because large trees, shadows or general light (and of course lack of pavement) make drivers not see the person. It is one of the most dangerous roads I have been done! Cars as well as the Public are at constant risk on this road.

My thoughts are foremost with the family. I used to cycle down this road. I realised that it's simply way too dangerous and now avoid it. Many drivers lack the patience or judgement to overtake. I’m not usually someone that likes the thought of more speed bumps, but this road is exceptionally dangerous and some sort of road calming measures need to be enforced.

I don't live in the area but know the road. Although I am now a more mature driver behind the wheel, I can see why this road is exciting and tempting for careless drivers. Bizarrely, blind bends add to the thrill. Something really needs to be done before either lives are ruined.

This road is literally a death trap due to careless driving at inappropriate speeds. Frequently cars are rearing across the other side around the bends. It's tragic a young woman as lost her life and something must be done to prevent any further fatalities.

This is a highly dangerous lane. The road is small with no visibility, and very few cars actually respect speed limitation.

Something needs to be done to make this road safer for pedestrians, who are mostly children.

Defiantly needs road widened and a proper footpath put in place. Also the bend up near borrow hill needs widening too many people speed down there I nearly had a car crash into me because he came speeding round the corner lost control of his car an slid towards me luckly I swearved an missed me by inches! Not a safe road. So widen the road make a footpath, street lighting and sort some kind of road works to slow drives down.

This road would benefit from multiple safety measures, widening, a pavement traffic calming better lighting even radical tree pruning to let in more daylight and while we are at it a safe cycle lane !

I am a member of the gym on this road but rarely go during winter as I wouldn't dare attempt to walk down there in the dark with no path for some sections! I am a non-driver.
