The Tequesta Indians lived on the northernmost mound, high ground and protectoion from floods; they traded in the middle grounds, and used the southernmost area for burial grounds. We, the undersigned residents of Weston, respectfully request that proposed changes to this beautiful park be limited to the minimum necessary to achieve to achieve Weston equipment standards and Federal accessibility standards. while maitianing all aspects of safety and security for the local community. Specifically,
(i) Achieve accessibility standards without changing the topography of any area of the park.
(ii) No tree to be removed without an arborist certification that the tree poses a danger to the community.
(iii) No more than a 20% increase parking spaces, including the addition of two handicap parking spots.
