Parent of upcoming senior student at Live Oak. As of now, she will not only have to give up her music class during school, but also take a summer class at Gavilan to complete credits necessary for graduation. My daughter does not only participate in Fall Marching Band, but also Winter Percussion and now Blue Devil Drum Corp during the summer. These programs are extremely demanding physically and mentally, all the while keeping up with AP classes and preparing for college.
