These kids are working hard in the summer heat for their band, and it should be rewarded! Give them their P.E. Credit!

I whole hearted believe Marching Band students shpuld receive PE credit and extra credit course for all the additional work, playing instuments, learning new material/sheet music, marching configurations and participating in football games. Supporting drama plays, musicals. Marching Band competitions. Pep rallies and orchestra recitals and programs. Marching band teaches hand eye coordination. Playing an instrument, reading music and so much more. Musicians perform better in math classes.

Personally, I feel that I have gotten a better workout in PE marching band than I ever have with the basic PE class.

Band is very much so PE we do all kinds of stuff constantly involving exercise so it should count for PE credits
