I would add mandatory safety classes to the legislation.

Let’s save lives by treating guns like cars. One needs to prove profiency, be a certain age, and register guns like cars.

We are becoming the 3rd world countries some of us served. We went out to make the world a better place, and our home is deteriorating. We need to take the NRA's control away.

Please stop the sale of semi-automatic weapons.

A prevalence of weapons creates instability and renders populations unsafe. By mischaracterizing the 2nd Amendment to champion individual firearms owners, the NRA is undercutting the safety and security of The People. Our society is strong WITHOUT the proliferation of weapons of war.

Stop with the greed. You ain't taking your wealth and power when you are buried six feet under. #neveragain

As an RPCV as well as a nurse-midwife and family nurse practitioner, I have seen gun violence impact the lives of people all over the country. Please take into account the very real, very human, and frequently lifelong consequences of gun violence when considering how to respond to recent tragedies.

There are no excuses. We need gun control reform now.
