The BBC has confirmed they will host the debate on legal aid. I am drained from this long haul but immensely grateful that we forced this conversation into the open. We will be watching closely to ensure the network treats the gravity of these reforms with the attention they deserve.

The emails I receive from those affected by these changes remind me why we cannot let this issue fade into the background. I am still waiting for a formal response from the network but their continued silence only underscores the urgency of our demand.

Host the debate. Stop hiding from the real issues.
its funny how they find time for every other debate but not something that actually affects our rights.
If legal aid goes then fairness goes. BBC has a duty to shine a light on this before the gov ruins everything for good.
The bbc should be doing this anyway. Why are they so quiet while the legal system is basically being gutted?
ABSOLUTELY. The public has no idea how bad these cuts are going to be for justice in this country.

This is way too important to ignore. We need a proper debate on tv now or its going to be too late.
