Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

Dogs bark. That's what they do! I have 4 chihuahua that's all they do is bark and they sound vicious doing it but aren't - same goes for my neighbors dogs or anyone's dog for that matter! This is rediculous let the dogs go home and get new neighbors!

Let them go home it's being a dog, for crying out loud !!!

What is wrong with a place that would kill to good dogs for barking. All dogs bark. What is wrong with that place?

Dogs bark. That's what they do. They shouldn't be put to death for barking. Some people are abnormally scared of dogs. They need to deal with their insecurities. Would you have every dog that ever barked euthanized? Ridiculous!

My neighbors' two dogs bark at me all the time - a springer spaniel and a husky or similar. I don't complain; I don't feel threatened. I could help them train them, but they don't ask, so I ignore. We've been next door for 15 years. Their original dogs barked also. I used to ignore them too.

This is so wrong . It's so upsetting. What is wrong with people.. Give those dogs back to their owners. Dogs are being taken away for being dogs . Put down for being dogs. What kind of law is this. Don't allow this to happen.. FIGHT IT ALL THE WAY..

The dogs are only doing what their nature tells them to do my husband is a mail carrier and does not get angry when dogs bark at him he says that dog is only doing its job of making sure no one gets close to its home and people you can't punish something for only doing what was ingrained to do in their nature

Do you have a clue how many dog lovers and animal lovers there are in this country? We're all done with putting up with these cruel, inhumane and illegal moves by so called Animal Control in certain states that haven't woken up to where the rest of the country is! Do you really want to be looked at as backward and ignorant in Port St. Lucie? I doubt it will do much for your city's image. This is ridiculous. RELEASE these babies back to their owner and if you want to euthanize someone, deal with the damn neighbor! So sick of having to have this same fight with certain law enforcement agencies that act like a bunch of backwards rednecks without a brain!

This is just plain wrong. Act according to the intent of the law, not the letter of the law. Spare the barking dogs. They're not vicious.
