dogs are doing their job barking to warn the owner of danger or the something is to close. What is the matter with the state of Florida?? Never heard of such a law. I know there are a lot of dog haters out there but a dog is an animal that love a person more than himself. Florida law makers must not be very smart to pass a stupid law like that one. I am glad the shelter had to for protection from the law, this is costing them money,

My dogs also bark at neighbours & people walking past our back fence. Isn't that what they are supposed to be doing - alerting you to someone near your property? As long as they are on their own property I cannot see why this is a problem

Please do not kill dogs for "scaring" people...that is the oldest wolf cry in history of bullying neighbors with dogs. People who discriminate blame dogs for being scary when if you post cameras I bet you will catch the dogs being teased. Other dogs are just very communicative.

I cant believe that a state has a law to kill dogs that bark, they aren't causing problems, they are barking, that's what dogs do, stop killing innocent animals, It's bad enough that animals are being killed for shelters being over crowded or being at a shelter too long that nobody wants, there has to be better laws in our country for our animals, this is inexcusable, Please don't kill these dogs for barking.
