how can a dog barking even be compared to doing physical harm. That is exactly why I have a dog...loyalty and protection. My dog barks at every noise and person that walks by. that doesn't mean she is attacking them - in her mind - she is simply warning her family. How can anyone that works in the justice system - think this is by any stretch of the term just or fair?? If that is the case - there clearly needs to be an overhall of the FL justice system

Virtually all dogs bark. And any dog that doesn't bark to protect its family or its yard isn't typical. We can't euthanize a dog for doing what is expected of them.

Dogs, bark, get real, ok sometimes it aggravates others but the owners can train the dogs, don't put these dogs down just because they do a normal function. We once had a neighbor who let his dogs bark at us every time we set foot out our back door, but we never even thought of having his dogs put down because of barking...get these dogs back home and let the dogs alone.

Dogs bark. That's what they do. What is "scary" is that someone can complain and be the cause of two lives lost. In my opinion, people are a horrible breed.

Why would such a stupid law be enforced? That's like saying we have to kill the birds because they chirp. It's a natural thing for dogs to do, especially when protecting or alerting their owners to something. You can't have a law as stupid as to kill anything simply because they're "speaking" with their native tongue. It is inhumane and quite frankly one of the most ridiculous laws I have ever heard, and probably ever passed. They need to be returned to their home and this shameful law abolished.

Perhaps the neighbours should be moved..This is ridiculous ! And unhumane. What a waste of the tax payers money for having to send people there and then take them away. The complainant should be fined and made to pay all the fees.

These animals are not a danger to the community and to euthanize them for parking is cruelty to animals in itself! This community should hang its head in shame! There are steps the owner could take to retrain the dogs or divert their attention to curb the barking.
