Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

This is a disgrace. Humans talk, birds chirp, cats meow, cows moo, sheep baa and dogs bark. Humans aren't arrested for talking, right?

I am so sick of animals being euthanized left right and center! It's all they know how to do instead of dealing with a problem. They wouldn't euthanize their children for crying or yelling at a neighbour!

These dogs should not be euthanized - that is cruelty, pure and simple.

These dogs went after 6 different neighbors in a month and not in their own yard!!! I am astounded that there are so many ignorant people that actually believe that these dogs were removed because they barked for their own yard. I have 3 dogs of my own and have foster and rehomed over 25 dogs along with many other animals. I have personal witnessed these dogs loose and charging at people numerous times. There are still criminal charges pending against this irresponsible pet hoarder and she is the one that needs to pay for what she has turned these dogs into. You can go to the St. Lucie county clerk of courts and search her name under court cases and see all the charges including the city ordinance fines that she has been found and or plead guilty to. You will also she that she has failed to pay the fines associated with those!!! Innocent people wouldn't have to pay fines like that. Please people use some common sense

Euthanizing a dog for barking? Are people that awful and ridiculous? Poor dogs :( I hope this stupid idea is ended fast!!

This is cruel and unusual. Please bless these dogs with the correct ruling and let them free.

I guess if a dog can be euthanized for barking then maybe humans should be too for talking!

No dog should be treated cruelty and unfairly, so I support any person or group that intend to protect them.

Dogs are going to bark at people. Barking is not a crime for a dog. Return these beautiful dogs to their owner. There is no need to take away two loving animals for such a harmless act.

I've had plenty of dogs bark at me, but barking is a natural thing that dogs do. They shouldn't be taken away for it.

Well. I stand corrected based on FL law. But it doesn't seem fair.

You can fine the owner but you cannot confiscate the dogs because they were barking.
