This is wrong, plain and simple. These dogs haven't harmed anyone and you can see in the videos they are very sweet natured. The city should be ashamed!

This is crazy! How will Port Saint Lucie allow a family friend to be killed because they bark! That is their nature, that is how they communicate! They bark when they are happy. They bark when they want food in their bowl. Yorkis bark, miniature pinchers, all small bread dogs bark and are known as "ankle biters". But they are not being taken from families and killed. Again for those ignorant people in todays society it is not the bread that makes a dog vicious it is their OWNER! These dogs were in their home property. So what they barked, these neighbors could have been antagonizing these dogs to get them to bark. Maybe these dogs just seen people and wanted attention. As you seen in the video they are loving and just want affection. If they were vicious they would be trying to attack the individuals holding them by a choking stick! I pray these dogs are returned to their loving family. This is an outrage. If the neighbors don't like dogs or barking find another place to live that won't allow any animals !

Dogs bark. Steps can be taken if it becomes a nuisance, but this should not be a reason to murder a dog. Killing without just cause is murder.
