Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

This is seriously ridiculous, people LOVE those dogs...and for barking? Fine the owners, for gods sake, and free those dogs.

This is absurd.. Let the vet take them and stop this insanity.

Florida has a bad enough reputation without adding fuel to the fire. These animals have done nothing to warrant this punishment. They need to go home to the family that loves them.

This is a travesty!!! How can you euthanize any animal for doing what is natural to them and also harmless ???!!! If a dog urinates on an animal haters lawn can we euthanize them then too??? This is absurd!!!

This makes no sense. people have dogs for protection -- dogs are suppose to bark at people close to their territory -- it's how they warn their owners of possible intruders.

This is an embarrassment for Port St. Lucie and a disgrace for Florida pet owners. The county needs to step up and do the right thing here! As a resident I can't believe these dogs and this owner have been put through such an ordeal.

THIS IS WAY TO SICK AND SHOULD BE STOPPED. SEND THOSE DOGS BACK HOME THEY ARE NOT AGGRESSIVE AND ANYONE THAT LOOKS AT THEM WOULD KNOW THAT. THEY ARE HAPPY AND LOVE ABLE ANIMALS.
