Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

Barking for a dog is like speaking for a human, why don't they arrest everyone who speaks if that is how they feel.

These dogs should be released to their family immediately!! There is no law against dogs barking. There is however animal cruelty laws, which applies to this situation. THIS IS cruelty to animals! Set these dogs free and charge the "neighbor(s)" with disturbing the peace. This is ludicrous!

This is total bull crap. A 6 mos. old puppy on a catch pole! Any animal control officer that can't handle a 6 mos. old puppy that is not showing signs of aggression should be FIRED. These dogs did not injure anyone. There's no bite report just the AC officers "investigation." Fine the owners for loose dogs but leave it at that. This is clearly abuse of power.

I love dogs

My puppy barks a lot he's a collie cross. He's eight months old and very hypa. He often stands on our trampoline and leans over my fence and barks a lot at noises, other dogs and even the neighbours. I got reported to my council for being a nuscance. I'm not sure what I can do to stop this. I limit the time he's outside but even when he's out for a wee he barks. I don't know what I'd do if they took him away. Totally support your petition x

Dogs should not be killed because they are barking at some one . That is the natural thing a dog does.

This is literally animal abuse. Its like euthanizing a human for shouting at his friend, like every other form of life, this dog deserves to live just as much as that neighbor does.
