Two Port St. Lucie dogs impounded for barking at neighbor, could be euthanized

This is just beyond ridiculous. Dogs will be dogs okay. If my dogs didn't bark at other dogs or especially strangers then I wouldn't feel safe. Dogs naturally bark at almost every little thing due to them wanting to naturally protect their territory and their owners/family. But dogs know when someone is not a very good person and they let you know for sure. Whoever this neighbor is then they must be some stuck up little pick who obviously doesn't love animals or just dogs. Either way this is beyond stupid and I don't see why animal control would even get involved in this. They should know how stupid this whole thing is. I mean why would the government want to waste it's money on the medicine to euthanize two innocent dogs who clearly were just doing what they are suppose to do as dogs.

It's totally normal for dogs to bark and alert their owners to something or someone in the area. Please, please don't kill these dogs for only narking. My dogs bark at people going by all time. We don't kill them for that. I can't believe that would even be an issue. C'mon Florida

this is illegal & these dogs need to be sent back to their family now. Barking may be a nuisance but certainly NOT EUTHANIZED for it...im sure if an animal lawyer gets in on this these dogs will go home!

dogs bark...... as long as it isn't 24/7.. dogs bark that's what they do and if people are walking by, kids play in the street, people are biking, what do you expect? dogs are going to bark! I fight this battle where I live too and it makes you a nervous wreck!

I do not support murder of God's beings - these dogs are being killed for no reason. Barking and even one of bite by a scared animal cannot be used to euthanize them. Laws need to change and common sense needs to prevail. We are educated n human beings and need to use our brains to correct idiotic laws.
