PBIA Talent Night

Yes. I sign this petition to move India Talent night from Independance day to Diwali time. This will help to have good Diwali function and more kids can enjoy Indian culture.

Move Diwali to it's previous time.

It will be great to have the Diwali programme as before.

Lets bundle it on diwali only

The talent show criticizes the kids and make them cry due to the judges. The diwali show was an excellent show where friends and family could celebrate the new year together with dance.

Let's move Diwali show back to Diwali time like before. During summer families travel and no time to practice!

My kids have not performed because we r usually traveling in summer.

PBIA Diwali celebration & dinner gathering along with kids cultural programs in Diwali something all the family members look forward in Diwali. We need to bring it back. Plus in summer always traveling with kids can't join practices.

We want Diwali show back.The current talent show in August doesn't allow many kids to participate due to summer plans.This decision has splitted entire community. The elders looked forward for Diwali show and dinner which doesn't exist anymore.

We need the Diwali show back!!!

We kids always looked forward for Diwali, the Talent Show is just before the school starts and it is very inconvenient to regroup in the summer. Please bring our Diwali back!

The Diwali Show used to be the highlight of the fall season when we were young. All the young ones would look forward to it and there was always an ample amount of talent that performed at this show. The Talent Show is great, but I think the date is just a little off. It's summer break and a lot of people are not ready to attend it or may be out of town. GSCF hosts both a Diwali night and a Talent show. Maybe move the date of this Talent Show till later on (October) and also have a Diwali Show. The Diwali Show itself was just a great way to bring everyone together in one night to celebrate Diwali together by enjoying performances from little kids all the way to our senior members. It has just been a great tradition for the past however many years and it's sad to see it go.

I support on moving the date

I am all for it. But, do we really think that this is going to work? "A person need only one reason to do something. If he/she does not want to do it, there will be thousand excuses". This makes me feel like I am dealing with beauracracy. LOL

It's nice to have Diwali program with kids performing.That's more Festive.

I m totally in favor to move this event to Diwali something to look forward on Diwali time with family plus most of us on vacation during summer so kids don't have time to practice.

If this does not goes to deaf ears, please scrap this talent night and let it be like before during Diwali, where all members of the family, parents grandparents and kids enjoy the Festival of Lights together, not separate like PBIA is doing right now! PBIA has gone to its limits this year for not even hosting a diwali dinner for its members, which is supposed to be the main festival of our culture. I hope this is listened by the rigid PBIA board!!

It's vacation and we need to go out of town with kids

I totally agree. Something to look forward for Diwali & the kids can relax and enjoy their summer.
