GOOD INTENTIONS
Palm Beach County in partnership with the School District of Palm Beach County is installing a government owned and controlled "Access For All" WiFi Mesh Internet Network to potentially 25K households. They are targeting low-income areas with free or reduced lunch for this pilot program with the intention to roll it out wider once they can call this first project a success. This is a case of good intentions with bad consequences. (Click here to listen to a recent staff presentation. Start time: 1 hour, 1 minute and 30 seconds).

BURIED HEADS IN THE SAND
The County public records office has confirmed that as of May 20, 2021, “No health and safety studies were done, as all the equipment utilized for this project complies with all applicable federal guidelines (FCC).” The problem with this is the FCC only accounts for thermal burns, not biological effects, and children are especially vulnerable. Read why the AAP recommends the public reduce children’s exposure to cell phones and other devices that emit wireless radiation.

EMF AND RF DAMAGE IS THOROUGHLY CONFIRMED
The harmful biological effects of wireless technologies and radiation have been known about and verified through scientific research for decades.

The National Institutes of Health published a multi-million dollar study proving it causes cancer.

Some of the published medical literature on the harmful biological effects of wireless technologies include heart arrythmia, diabetes, impairment of cognition and learning/memory issues, behavioral issues including ADD and ADHD, and psychological issues such as anxiety and depression.

Please take a moment to listen to this MD's powerful testimony to the Michigan State Legislature.

PROTECT THE KIDS
Children are an extremely vulnerable population impacted by wireless radiation. They are already receiving untested exposures at schools and now they are a key target for the Access for All WiFi infrastructure coming to their neighborhoods, where families and children will be exposed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via thousands of poles and tens of thousands of repeaters bringing signals to residential areas. Learn more about how to protect your kids by transitioning away from wireless technologies through Tech Safe Schools Webinars.

NOW WHAT
This project launched in the early fall of 2020 and is projected to cost $40 million, using tax payer dollars through the CARES Act and potentially through the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, as well as local sponsorships.

Furthermore, there is no insurance for these wireless radiation exposures so when damages arise in the future, it will be at the taxpayers' expense.

AUGUST 2021 UPDATE on FCC:

The Environmental Health Trust and the Children’s Health Defense have won a major court victory against the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) and have put a crack in the dam that has held back decades of proof that we are misled about the safety of radiofrequency/microwave (RF/MW) radiation with the submission to the court of over 11,000 pages of proof on harm.

Case 20-1025 EHT/CHD v FCC re: FCC Order 19-126 re: the FCC’s Insufficient Analysis of the Adequacy of the RF/MW Radiation Exposure Guideline

The U.S. Federal Court ruled on August 13, 2021, that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) must explain why it ignored science showing harm from radiofrequency/microwave (RF/MW) radiation as the FCC failed to respond to evidence that the testing of cell phones is flawed; to address evidence of prenatal harm, a potential link to ADHD, and harm to children; harm to DNA, evidence that this radiation causes electro-sensitivity; blood-brain barrier damage; cognitive & neurological problems; and evidence of mechanisms of harm; harm from long-term exposure; pulsation, modulation, and the effects of new technologies like Wi-Fi & 5G. The Court noted that the FCC failed to address evidence of environmental harm. The court remanded the decision to the FCC.
