Being a stay-at-home-parent is a selfless act. We give up a lot and play many different roles in raising our children. It is an extremely hard and stressful job that although rewarding, pays nothing. Yes we "chose" to become parents and "chose" to stay home with them however why pay someone else to do what we can do ourselves? Having our children home with us we cut out the high expense of daycare and we have peace of mind knowing no one is going to mistreat our child. It will also eliminate single women having to leave their children home because they can't afford childcare but at the same time have to work to provide for their children.Not all women are cut out for this job on a full-time basis because they simply can't handle it, but the ones who can and do give up and give so much. It is my dream to make our job - Pay!
