The commercial treats a pet bird like a gallon of milk. It's degrading and fosters the ideal of pets being treated like trash. I do not like it at all!

I have 5 parrots. They're all individuals with their own personalities and I would KNOW if one was replaced even with an identical species. And I'd be LIVID

Ignorant commercial!!! People like me that rescue and advocate for parrots will let you know they are NOT disposable!! Responsible owners know to NEVER leave a window open if the parrots are outside and you don't use round cages. TAKE IT DOWN!!!

Dispicable.. Don't you know that parrots are not things to be replaced?? They are living, breathing, family.. NOT things to be INTELLIGENT beings.. They are ourreplaced like a piece of furniture.. Sending the wrong message there.. THERE IS NO REPLACING A FAMILY MEMBER.

Do they not realize that birds are pets and like so they are part of the family? How is this different than losing a dog or cat and just replacing it with a different one?

As the publisher of a companion parrot magazine, I find this ad horrifying and distasteful. As the owner of a delightful, wonderful, personable conure parrot, I find this ad horrifying and distasteful. Birds should not be portrayed as objects to be easily replaced; they become a part of the family when in human care. This ad is offensive and heartbreaking.
