Parrots are awesome creatures and deserve recognition for their intelligence and the love they show their humans. Never disposable. Please rethink this ad.

Shame on PayPal . . . as a bird parent for 5 rescue macaws, they are living beings that cannot be replaced. When they do get loose you spend days searching and calling for them. They are part of your family. Not an object to purchase.

That is offensive. Animals are not toys that can be replaced by getting another toy. They are part of people's lives. Part of their families. They are living, breathing, intelligent friends who request little more than being properly cared for and loved. That commercial shows an irresponsible, jaundiced view of parrots, their peoples' feelings and the people themselves. The loss would be horrible and this commercial shows an uncaring attitude which is atrocious.

To make light of a person's irresponsiblity of bird ownership is thoughtless and inconsiderate of that or any bird's safety and wellbeing. Shame on you PayPal, shame!

Would you make a commercial with a dog or cat like this? Parrots are loved pets like any other. Losing a pet can be heart breaking.
