There are services in the market which allow ANY type of shop - be it a restaurant, hairdressers or cafe (or even a library!) - to book parking on behalf of their customers.
This is in addition to the current pay by phone, it just allows access to all motorists, not just those who have and can use mobile phones.
Its time the Council listened to it constituents, supported its high street and offered an cash payment alternative to give the high streets the boost it needs by allowing shops to book parking for their customers.

Ridiculous that I cant just park if I dont have my phone on me. Please fix this soon.
The phone app is a nightmare. Half the time the signal is rubbish anyway. Bring back cash or let the shops handle it.
WAY OVERDUE. Why make it so hard for people to spend money in our own town?
Just let us pay at the counter. Makes way more sense.
My mum cant use these apps and she just stops coming to the high street now. Its hurting the local business owners.
