I oppose the development in Lordswood, we are lacking in countryside as it is. The wildlife will be affected greatly by the distruction of these woodlands.

Please leave our woods alone, Maidstone borough council you should be ashamed of yourselves, are you going to provide the lordswood urban extension with new schools and hospitals, because they won't becoming out of you budget will they? no they will all go to medway maritime hospital and use the local medway schools, which are both it seems busting at the seems. I have lived it lordswood all my life and have seen the woods in this area diminish. You can't call it lordswood without a wood! I use to play there as a child and now I take my child there, he probably knows more about the wildlife that's in there than the council does and he is only 2. There are plenty of run down areas which you can build on, just not here, not on this beautiful land!!!

This is one of the last decent sized areas of woodland nearby, it would be terrible of this goes ahead.

Leave our woods alone, we do not need more houses, what we need is somewhere to walk outdoors in beautiful peaceful surroundings - leave well alone,
