There is adequate space alongside the rails to install trails. There's also plenty of statistics to support the viability and safety of rails WITH trails. Check it out: https://goo.gl/ZLnmtR
It would be great to see a trail and a healthier population. It's actually possible to get both (Rails AND Trails)! Fishers has already received $1.3 Million in funding for another trail (also called the Nickel Plate) which will go from the Municipal Complex to Conner Prairie. Would love to have this walking path!!!! This would be the best thing Noblesville could do to promote connections, commerce and heathy living for its residents.

I support building the trail from Downtown Noblesville heading south. I would love to bring my family over to jump on the 14' trail for walking, running and biking - and can't wait to see how a cool trail would help develop along 8th Street and south to bring more restaurants, cafes and housing that would not come otherwise. We can design and build it in a way that reflects what makes Noblesville special and still honor our Nickel Plate Railroad heritage by allowing the train to run north from our downtown square.

This trail will increase property values and increase economic development just like the Monon has done for Carmel. Additionally, it provides a safe fitness resource away from cars available to all to help combat obesity!

Long trails are great! Are you aware that Fishers has already received funding for another trail (also called the Nickel Plate) to go from the Municipal complex to Conner Prairie? This could easily be connected the rest of the way to Noblesville along the White River, a MUCH more scenic route. Check it out: https://goo.gl/8ppfQ5

Please build the trial. Just like the positive impact the Monon trail for Carmel, Westfield, and Indianapolis, this trail will provide the same benefits for Noblesville and Fishers.

As a Fishers resident, it would be amazing to have a trail for running, walking, biking through our city to Indianapolis. This would give us a much needed safe ways for bikers, runners, walkers to move through our community.

Would really love to have a place to walk with my family and exercise at distances longer than just a few miles, and not have to walk alongside loud traffic and fumes. Really looking forward to this trail!
