Please pave Polly Peabody. It has become unsafe in the winter and clearly we are one of the only roads in Bedford unpaved!

I have considered this and I think it is a reasonable trade off. Even upper Joppa doesn’t have significant traffic, I doubt the increase would be all that much

I have friends who live over there and more than once I’ve had to have my tires realigned after driving on that road.

Hoping for some road widening in a few spots too so maybe the snow plow won't take out my mailbox yet again this winter.

I have considered the possibility of increased traffic and higher speeds. Yes, there may be some increased traffic but I don't think the speeds will increase much because Polly Peabody a winding, hilly road. Joppa Hill is wider and more of a straight-away which contributes to the increased speed. I have seen a nominal increase in traffic on Joppa Hill since it was paved and I'm out there every day. I think traffic to the Tarr conservation area will stay on Joppa Hill.

Have you really thought about the implications of paving Polly Peabody Road? It would bring increased traffic and increased speeds. We have all seen how much of an impact paving Joppa Hill Road has had on these factors. As some of you may not know, the town is in the process of turning the Tarr property into a hiking/walking trail. This will be similar the Pulpit Rock Conservation area which would turn our quiet, quaint neighborhood into a high traffic cut through. While reaping the benefits of a newly paved roads would be nice, the implications of paving the road need to be taken into consideration.

It's scary driving up Polly Peabody Road, after it rains especially b/c it feels like my car will end up too easily in a ditch. I need to visit my granddaughter, thank you!

Rain washes out the bottom of our driveway. Workers are always on our road grading and digging out the culverts.

Please pave our road! Polly Peabody road washes into my driveway and across my property to the brook every time there is heavy rain.

I certainly would not be against the paving of Polly Peabody. I live on the corner of Polly Peabody and Joppa Hill Rds. and often avoid coming up Polly Peabody because I don't want all the dirt and mud on my car.

I'm tired of having a dirty car and walking in mud. I garaged my motorcycle indefinitely because the road is too dangerous for a bike. Property assessments are going way up and it's time to get something for our tax dollars.

I walk my dog daily and we're tired of breathing road dust and getting muddy. The town started using a product to treat the road last winter and that becomes airborne when the road is dry and the cars driving by kick it up. I'm praying it's not a health hazard. Air filters in our cars need to be changed more frequently and everything is dirty. It's time to pave, please. Joppa Hill was paved a couple of years ago and there was no developer to pay for that project so why can't Polly Peabody enjoy the same benefit?

Please take action on our road. The bottom of our driveway washes out every time it rains. The drains on either side of the driveway need to be dug out after major storms. It seems like all of the worker-hours spent maintaining the drainage and grading the road should be more than paving and maintaining a paved road. Not to mention the damage to our cars and property values. Thank you.
