Mayor Dale,

We, the undersigned, and as citizens of Nampa, Idaho, petition you and the City of Nampa to fund quality asphalt paving of Midland Rd. This asphalt paving should run from the Midland/Greenhurst intersection to the Midland/Karcher Blvd. intersection.

As Mayor, we are certain you are aware of the volume of traffic that flows along this section of Midland. For many years the City of Nampa has chosen to chip seal this area with the caveat that this is a "cost saving" method. However, for many years this chip sealing has failed, has been done incorrectly, and must be redone every year. We do not see the reality that is indeed a cost savings. For the high volume of traffic along this roadway, chip seal is not an adequate solution.

As your constituents, we request this project be amended and started immediately.
